KarimiConsulting (“we”, “us”, “our”) provides AWS Cloud consulting services. This policy explains what personal information we collect through this website, why we collect it, how long we keep it, and the choices you have.
We are the data controller for the information described here. If you have any question about this policy, contact us using the details at the end.
1. Information we collect
Information you give us
When you submit the contact form on this site, we collect the name, email address, the service you selected, and the message you write. We use these only to respond to your enquiry and to provide the services you ask about.
If you email or call us directly, we hold whatever you choose to share in that correspondence.
Information collected automatically
Like most websites, we collect limited technical information automatically through analytics: pages viewed, approximate location derived from IP address, device and browser type, referring website, and how you interact with the page. This is used in aggregate to understand which parts of the site are useful.
We do not send the contents of the contact form to our analytics tools. Your name, email address and message are never included in analytics events.
2. Cookies and analytics
This site uses Google Analytics 4 and Google Tag Manager, which set cookies on your device to distinguish visitors and measure site usage. Google processes this data on our behalf; see Google’s Privacy Policy for how they handle it.
You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings, and you can opt out of Google Analytics entirely using Google’s opt-out browser add-on. Blocking cookies will not stop you using this site.
The site also loads fonts from Google Fonts and an embedded map from Google Maps. Loading these makes a request to Google’s servers, which will see your IP address.
3. Why we can use your information
Where the law requires a legal basis, we rely on:
- Your request — to answer an enquiry you sent us.
- Legitimate interests — to run, secure and improve this site.
- Consent — where you have given it, for example to non-essential cookies.
- Legal obligation — where we must keep records to comply with the law.
4. Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers who help us operate this site and our business, and only as far as they need it:
- Google (analytics, tag management, fonts, maps)
- Our website host and email provider
- Professional advisers, or authorities where the law requires disclosure
5. How long we keep it
Contact-form enquiries are kept for 24 months after our last contact with you, unless you become a client, in which case we keep records for as long as our business relationship requires and any period the law demands afterwards. Analytics data is retained according to the setting in our Google Analytics property.
6. How we protect it
We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal information, including encrypted connections (HTTPS) across this site and restricted access to enquiry records. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, so please do not send sensitive information — passwords, access keys, or account credentials — through the contact form.
7. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to request a copy of the personal information we hold about you, to correct it, to have it deleted, to object to or restrict how we use it, to receive it in a portable format, and to withdraw consent at any time. California residents have specific rights under the CCPA/CPRA, including the right not to be discriminated against for exercising them.

8. Other websites
This site links to other websites, including our social media profiles and support site. We are not responsible for their content or their privacy practices, and we encourage you to read their policies.
9. Children
This site is intended for business users. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as our services or the law change. The “last updated” date at the top shows when it last changed, and material changes will be made clear on this page.
